At Lauriebeck Bagpipes we handcraft our instruments in a variety of beautiful timbers, including African Blackwood, Cocobolo, Mopane & Ebony.  We also offer a number of accessories, including hand made reeds, practise chanters and bellows.

Every set of smallpipes that leaves our workshop is handcrafted with care to meet the needs of each customer. Each set of smallpipes is supplied with a full compliment of hand-crafted reeds, using cane for the chanter, and composite drone reeds. We make all our own reeds and therefore can be sure of sending you a set of smallpipes that we would be happy to play ourselves.

We maintain email contact with you at all times during the making of your instrument - providing progress photos so you can see the development from blocks of wood, right through to the finished smallpipes if you so wish. We provide ongoing support once you have taken delivery of your pipes and encourage you to keep in touch so we can offer assistance if required.
